My favorite Couture Collection Fall 2012

For sure the only collection this COUTURE 2011 was GIVENCHY : "Purity, lightness, fragility," was how he summed up his focus. This collection is similar to Riccardo Tisci's last collection for Givenchy Couture, inspired by birds, origami and warriors. But, I fall for the the ten angelicals looks gilded, sophisticated edge were all was white and gold. Tisci's collection was a sublimely modernist approach to haute couture, and of course he has enticed the established Givenchy atelier to experiment with brave new techniques alongside classic methods.

A look in front and back of the entire impecable collection.

Take a look at this heaven palette: palest beige, ivory, and white. White color reflects passion and romance at the same time. Here you can find tiny lace circle cutouts in heart shapes on the bodice of a dresses, ivory floor-length gowns of romantic chantilly lace, fragile tulle dresses with scattered pattern, beautiful high-heel sandals.

A long tulle dress decorated with tiger's-eye pearls that had been inserted with crystals to catch the light and arrayed in the exact same pattern as the marks on an ostrich skin.

Embroidered with tiny silvery-gray caviar beads.

My favorite look of all and the Tisci taste for provocation. Mingling among all those high-priced embellishments were the oversize plastic zippers that have become a signature of his modern take on the traditional art of custom dressmaking. And don't forget all the flesh laid bare by his cutouts, peekaboo fringe, and tulle. Still, the exquisite technique was the big story here, pointing as it did to the continuing evolution of this designer's unique couture vision.

Fall 2011 couture collection, he produced ten such dresses, shown grouped into three rooms named "tears of angels," the "cloud room," and "bird of paradise" after their respective inspirations.

Explaining his color of choice for the dresses, Tisci said: “I try to find the light in the darkness . . .

His favorite dress of the collection, covered with hand-cut tulle paillettes, was inspired by his graduation project at Central St. Martins.

I wish to have the money to collect all Givenchy Couture collection! All are Master pieces!
